GripPRO reinvented the removable tie down anchor for the Polaris Lock and Ride TM system in 2016 after repeated OEM accessory failures. We were surprised and delighted when our redesigned anchor became super popular overnight, and the demand for our new-style anchor exploded.
Our best-selling anchor line now sells more anchors than ALL competitors combined, AND is the only aftermarket anchor that is PATENTED! That’s right, we are the ORIGINAL and the first to use a deeper-gripping, ribbed, custom-designed, rubber drop-in anchor.
OEM parts and accessories are typically high-quality, but not always the best design. And we all know how expensive OEM accessories can be. That’s exactly why we created this tie down anchor line and was the driving force behind why we reinvented and improved the Polaris brand anchor.

3X STRENGTH!
We innovated a totally new design for our anchor plugs with several improvements over the OEM design which greatly increased the holding power. First, for the RZR and Sportsman models, we created our plug to protrude and expand outside the bottom of the Lock and Ride TM hole, guaranteeing it’s going to stay locked in.
For the Ranger and General models with deeper holes, we created a longer plug to greatly increase the surface area in contact between the plug and hole, which when combined with the rubber ribs gives extremely strong holding power. We’ve had customers tell us they’ve been hoisting wild game from tree branches into the beds of their ATV’s with our anchors! That’s some serious grip strength.
Second, we engineered ribs into our plug to give the expanded rubber somewhere to expand into which allows more tightening than the standard plugs which again, yields superior gripping strength.
Next, we tested and tested different rubbers, synthetics, compounds and hardnesses until the rubber was just right. We decided on a very strong and tough, but flexible EPDM rubber which is heat and oil-resistant, conforms and returns to shape, and stands up to UV rays which means your rubber won’t fail on you when you need it most!
